MY PRACTICE

Hello! My name is Morgan Gallego. I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. My passion to help people be their true and authentic selves. I have been passionate about mental health since high school and I have pursued that ever since. I received my bachelors at Florida Atlantic University in Psychology. After this, I was a Registered Behavioral Technician for 3 years working with children with Autism utilizing Applied Behavioral Analysis. I recently graduated from Liberty University in May 2023 with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. 

TREATMENT FOCUS

In session I will walk with you as we explore your life experiences and how they are manifesting into thoughts, behaviors and emotions that are no longer serving you. Getting to the root of what that part of you really wants, that may be manifesting into issues that are impacting your life. I specialize in working with anxiety, mood disorders, codependency, attachment issues, substance use and behavioral concerns. I utilize evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems, and Person Centered therapeutic approaches. I have the pleasure to work with adults, teens and children. I have previous experience working with adults in substance use treatment with co-occurring mental health disorders. I also have experience working with children in the school setting, collaborating with teachers and staff. I know the power of  working within a collaborative team to support my clients in reaching their goals!

MY PROMISE

I believe that our behaviors, thoughts and emotions all have a deeper meaning. As we go through life we adopt perceptions about ourselves and the world around us. Those experiences shape our behaviors, thoughts and emotions. Many times we believe that we can just "move on", but every experience has an effect on us, positive or negative. I promise to utilize each session as an opportunity to create a safe and non judgmental space for you to grow and be vulnerable.
